Remote Biotechnology Buyer
The Remote Biotechnology Buyer program is intended for start-ups & biotechnology companies with labs of 5 to 50 employees. In many cases labs under 50 employees would benefit from having an experienced dedicated buyer but are unable to justify the headcount. This program replaces the need to dedicate an existing internal resource and/or partial headcount to purchase order management and other general responsibilities associated with the Buyer role. Clients will work with a single point of contact who will handle the following responsibilities.

Generating Purchase Orders per client's Signature Authority Policy

Placing Purchase Orders with suppliers & service providers

Reviewing order confirmations & communicating information to end users

Following up on open orders with suppliers & end users

Requesting quotes for end users

Mitigating back orders by identifying secondary suppliers & products

Establishing net payment term accounts with new suppliers

Presenting supplier promotions and cost saving opportunities
